Glass Tuesdays... 2 - 8 pm.
We've switched our Stained Glass format to provide greater flexibility in our scheduling. Sage is currently offering one on one assistance for your stained glass projects in a new hourly studio format with lab tech, Trish Conyers.
Cost for studio time: $6 per hour, with a free hour earned every time you complete six! All students using the studio receive a 10% discount on glass and some additional supplies when purchased on Tuesdays. Reservations are recommended weekly, as space is limited.
Beginning students may use the studio ONLY after completing a 2 hour "Introduction to Stained Glass Basics and Tools" session, which must be scheduled by appointment. The cost for the introductory workshop is $30.
Advanced students who have previously had instruction at Sage, the Coquille Art Center, or at Classical Glass, Coos Bay are welcome to use the studio following a brief overview of the tools; we may request to see previous work to accept students at an advanced level.
SAGE PLACE WORKSHOP, FEE, & REGISTRATION POLICIES:
• Most workshops require preregistration, with tuition paid in full, four days prior to start of class, variations, if applicable, will be noted in class schedule.
• Class size is limited; age requirement is 16 or older, unless otherwise stated.
• Additional Materials fees and/or lab fees may apply and must be paid in full 30 minutes prior to the end of workshops.
• If students need to bring additional supplies, a materials list will be provided at registration.
• Please arrive 15 minutes early and check in at the front counter.
• Students receive a 10% discount at Sage Place on purchases of most class supplies. Discounts may not apply to some specialty items, metals, tools.
• Some classes require an additional Safety Waiver, which must be signed by students before attendance is allowed.
• Parking: Additional parking is available across the street in front of the blue industrial park building (formerly Seagull Tax).
Cancellation Policy:
• In the event the STUDENT must cancel class, for any reason:
Sage Place will issue a store credit, only if cancellation is received by class registration/tuition payment deadline - four days in advance, unless otherwise noted in class schedule.
Sage instructors are guaranteed payment based upon enrollment at the time of registration/fee deadlines; therefore, Cancellations received AFTER deadlines will NOT be issued credit.
• If Sage Place must cancel class, a store credit, or full refund will be issued to the student.
Agreement: By registering in Sage Place workshops, you are agreeing to follow all safety instructions and you are also agreeing not to hold: Sage Place, Nona Joan's Attic, LLC, its owner and staff liable for injury, loss, or damage.
