SAGE Gallery proudly represents 'Tis Gorse of Course,  a unique product line developed and produced right here in Bandon, Oregon.

 

The inspiration behind this product is found in the midst of Bandon's beautiful coastal location.  Most noted for it's vibrant yellow blossoms and wicked thorns, the gorse plant grows rampant in dense thickets along this isolated section of the Oregon Coast.

 

Local history credits Lord Bennett as the first to introduce gorse to Bandon, having imported it from his hometown of Bandon, Ireland.  Not always reflected upon fondly, the gorse plant has been notoriously credited with fueling the disastrous fire that destroyed most of Bandon in 1936.
